    with aurora in mind i headed to a samll tarn in Cumbria, on arrival it was cloudy for 3 hours. i stuck it as i waited and watched the satellite images to see when the cloud would clear. finally at 3 AM the sky became totally clear with the milykway spanning across the sky.
