It took my mom's diagnosis of stage 4 lung cancer to push us to finally go on a mother/daughter adventure around the world. One evening lost in transit to dinner, we encountered this unique, isolated tree and a fisherman way in the distance...Just as isolated and mysterious as the tree in front of us. It was the accumulation of simple moments like these that made made our journey most memorable.
