    A stork family had built this magnificent nest atop an ancient Roman column in Volubilis, Morocco. As my travel companions were trying to coax me away ("It's just a stork, Steph...."), the parent leaned back into the setting sun as if having made a perfect landing at an Olympic event. That sight alone was worth the trip.
