We made a long and early journey up the mountain in the dark of night to witness, experience, and record a majestic sunrise from the top of the Quiraing on the Isle of Skye, Scotland. The peaty ground was soggy, the wind was quite chilling, and the fog shrouded our view. Slowly the clouds receded and the sun began to poke holes from above creating a magical sun shower. The feeling was primordial. I imagined standing here hundreds of years ago with almost the same view.
