I created this image after a threatening tweet directed toward students of our local community college. My daughter and I go there every week... The number of mass school shootings in the USA grow unprecedentedly. Children should not fear going to school. Parents should not fear sending their kids to school. (I used a photo of my daughter's eye I took with my phone and a picture of a semi-automatic rifle I found online)

From Your Shot photographer Sukanya De: “I love your creative vision in portraying the opposites emotions of vulnerability and fear co-existing with that of alertness, courage and peace! Your thought-provoking frame and narrative reflect some strong realities of modern times in an artistic juxtaposition of dissimilar elements. Every element adds to the heartfelt story that makes the viewer feel concerned and be more compassionate as he/she contemplates on this profound message.”
