I have had many failed attempts to capture single exposure sharp moon image. This time I had a better chance in terms of weather. The sky was clear with no wind. This is an 84% waxing gibbous moon. I used Nikon D750, Tamron 150-600 G2 lens with 2x extender. This image is captured without the use of tracker. I have edited the image in Lightroom adding varying two components. 1) Increased the saturation to clearly indicate different regions. 2) Reduced the noise and increased the sharpness.
