    Reported by:

This naturally sculpted bridge on the coast of Antigua has a strong history. Before slaverly was abolished it was a place where slaves committed suicide. It's believed Devil's bridge got it's name because of this, but many believe that the slaves hurled themselves into the ocean in the hopes that their bodies would be carried back home to their country, Africa. Note the symbolic shape of the opening below the bridge. The day I took this shot, it was very windy, so they had the bridge closed.
