This sunrise shot taken at Tiger Hill Observatory, Darjeeling is close to my heart. It was a cold wintery night and I had to wake up at 3 am and be at the observatory to grab a good vantage point from where I could witness nature's spectacle unhindered, as the place gets crowded with tourists. I stay put for a good 2 hours waiting for the sun to rise. And when it did, the view of the vast Himalayan landscape simply mesmerised my senses. A moment I will cherish for the rest of my life.
