    Visiting the Redwood State Forest was life changing for me. Many of the trees are hundreds of years old. This tree is 1500 years old. It made us feel like we were amongst something so ancient, wise, and special. As we walked along a deserted path, there was no wind, there was no noise, the birds were quiet, my husband and I were holding hands, and suddenly we just looked at each other, we were thinking the same thing.. I felt the tears welling up. It was as if we were walking inside a photograph
