The Penon de Ifach is one of the most iconic landmarks in Spain. We travelled to Calpe to climb the towering limestone cliffs, that protrude over 300m up out of the sea, and stand proudly above the skyscrapers below.The day before our first ascent, we walked along the trail and simply stood aghast at the sheer size of the formation - it is intimidating and inspiring even for experienced climbers.
