Making the most of the Irish winter II
Real winter is not a frequent phenomenon in Ireland, yet when it comes, a lot of people from our town climb up Tullig hill to make the most of the snowfall. They slide down the hill all day long, some even late into the night. My husband remembers doing this as a kid and he also did it today with his son.
