We could hear the snarls but this gorgeous mating couple were hidden in the grass. We waited patiently, until suddenly they appeared on a mound to give me a perfect portrait. What started out as a swish of a tail in the long grass ended with my favorite moment in Africa. A moment that made me fall in love with these majestic cats and a photo that will keep making me go back for more.
