I work with children aged between 4 & 5 years and without a doubt one of their favourite games to play is “What’s the time Mr. Wolf”. Everyone wants to be the wolf. The wolf is powerful, fun and gets to make all the decisions. As the game goes on and time ticks away so does the build up of nervous anticipation. “Dinner time!”, the wolf shouts and there are squeals of laughter. The wolf is always after his next meal. Much like my growing son. Always hungry. Always asking what time dinner will be.
