    The canals of Little Venice in London host a wide variety of birds over the year. On 28th February, the "Beast From the East" polar vortex froze the canals over, allowing the birds to walk freely on the ice and transforming the landscape into something from an Arctic voyage. I captured these seagulls fighting for scraps on the icy, grey surface of the Grand Union Canal.
