    There are many subspecies of the African Lion, but all of them are threatened by always the same reasons like hunting, legal or not, poaching. Lions are even victims of the action of some pesticides... Many of the subspecies like Barbary Lion have extinct because of human action....For sure, the population of lions is severely decreasing anywhere in Africa ...
