I was lucky enough to experience the Hindu festival of Holi this year while on expat assignment in Mumbai. I love that the Festival of Colour not only celebrates good over evil, and the beginning of spring, but that it allows for caste, skin colour, religion, wealth, age, gender and stigmas to be disguised under a layer of colour - we all become one. In a megacity with extreme parallels, this was a day of utter shared joy and happy chaos throughout the whole place - and it was infectious!
