At 2 at night I woke up by the wind. I knew there was a chance to see the Aurora Borealis, got silently dressed and slipped out of the campervan trying not to wake up anyone. I was a bit frightened by the silence and magic of the Northern Lights and forced myself to walk onto the end of the pier that led to the middle of the bay. It felt like I was surrounded by lights completely and tried to capture this miracle the best I could with the self-timer, meanwhile enjoying my own private light show.
