Commemorate the War to Celebrate Peace

The Great War devoured a generation of young men, halved the industrial capacities of many nations and, a hundred years later, well over a hundred million deaths are directly or indirectly attributable to that war: from there totalitarianism flowed and the world entered the funnel that led him to the Second World War. Self-destruction in its pure state, on which it is appropriate to return with memory and to reflect, one hundred years later.
