Young Explorer - My son travelled to the Cocora Valley of Colombia, on a grant from the Explorers Club of NY - to investigate endemic invertebrate spicies of the area. This photo was taken by me at the start of his five day hike of the Cocora Valley. This trip changed my son life because the next year he also applied and won for a grant to do more research in India Arunachal Pradesh in Namdapha National Park. Currently he is studying Evolutionary Biology at Oxford University.
