Alaskan Astonishment
One day during a family trip to Alaska, we drove into Canada and stopped for a few astounding moments at the Emerald Lake in Yukon. I will always remember the moment for that pure, raw sense that characterizes so much of this part of the world. The feeling that this place looked the same one hundred, two hundred, a thousand years ago takes hold of your senses and demands a reaction. Only here does nature feel so saturated.
