A recent trip to Lofoten, Norway changed my life by allowing me to interact with people from a different culture than my own and also allowed me to see how beautiful a small fishing village can truly be. Learning about the history of the archipelago enlightened me on how people can thrive in these type of arctic conditions. It has also bolstered by drive to visit more beautiful arctic landscapes, and inspired me to travel to places outside of my comfort zone.
