This particular summit up Mount Kenya made me go home with a number of questions, like why in the world I want to be doing this more often. My fingers were in piercing pain as I took this shot. Altitude will always treat you a certain way no matter how many times you summit; there's always a different welcome wagon. It's getting back home that I realised, I actually love this. I always want to go back. I am one with the outdoors, and it's this trip right here that made that crystal clear for me.
