    This is a Scaly-breasted Lorikeet perched on a small branch of the Pepper Tree is easy to see, however, in a tree of green leaves almost impossible to spot. The Scaly-breasted lorikeet feeds on pollen, nectar, berries, and other fruit and seeds, they are very fond of cultivated fruits and often cause damage in orchards, they also raid sorghum and maize crops to feed on the milky grain.
