Playful and curious, a small troop of squirrel monkeys followed our canoe along the banks of Lake Sandoval rainforest in Peru. Their bright orange-yellow fur was in competition with the intense sun of the day. Quick, tiny in size and very vocal, the monkeys moved through the thick greenery with ease. The mothers with tiny babies clinging to them, with those sweet faces, made us "ooh and ah" like children.
