I was on my way to Mt. Baldy. Then, I saw this park as getting onto the 210 from the 605. I’d seen this park from a distance many times before. And I thought to myself that this day was the day. The Santa Fe Dam Recreation Center is such a large park, which accommodates a 70-acre lake where fishing and boating are allowed. The rainstorm showered intermittently throughout the morning while I was there. The rain clouds encroached across the lake fast and engulfed the San Gabriel Mountains.
