I knew this place for almost a year before i stood there for the first time. My first visit was at the end of April, and a cold wave hit Switzerland with snow and frost. When i stood there, i wasn't able to see the peak directly in front of me, he was hidden behind thick snow curtains. I was sitting there in the middle of nowhere, and suddenly the snowfall stopped and the dark mountain directly in front of me got visible. This was an absolutely fascinating moment.
