While visiting Pointe Vicente, a whale watching point off the coast of Southern California, the small purple and white flowers along the cliff had attracted swarms of bees with their bodies coated in pollen. This picture shows one of the bees with its head in the bloom and it's feet heavy with globs of pollen.
