We saw this lion early in the morning before sunrise, and he was on the move. It seemed as if he was running away from someone, and later on we saw the other lions he was trying to avoid. I love using the panning technique when there's barely any light outside - it's just another way to show the animals - a way that looks a bit like a painting. This was a special shot for me as it was the first shot I took on a day that happened to be my birthday...
