After a cold visit to a Christmas Market in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, I decided to take a drive up the Fern Pass in hopes of capturing some nice views of the mountains. Unfortunately the road conditions were sub par. Instead I found a restaurant parking lot that had a wonderful view of the Zugspitze and Alpspitze, two of Germanys noteworthy mountain peaks. This image really set the tone of my trip and I am glad I attempted to drive up the Fern Pass, otherwise I may have missed this beauty.
