2.- Volcanes Santiaguito and Santa Maria.We will travel by car from 1,000 feet to 10,000 feet in less than four hours. The road will take us to the right of the tall Santa Maria volcano. We will witness agriculture from highly mechanize export driven sugarcane, to wheat farmed by hand.As we begging to gain some height, we leave the sugarcane behind and enter coffee fields, some grown under the canopy of large trees. A very interesting sample of sustainable, agroforestry.
