This photograph was clicked during a Bengali wedding. I wanted to document the tradition of ages through the eyes of a bride. This is the moment, when bride leaves her family and move to her husband's house. She starts a new journey with new people. Every girl has to undergo this bitter sweet pain of life.

This is such a beautiful moment Avismita. I love the look on her face paired with the faceless hands touching the car window. And then when I learn this is the moment the bride is leaving her home and moving to her husband's house, this moment you documented becomes even more powerful, more poignant, more intimate. I feel everyone saying goodbye. I love it. Well done.
