A fisherman seen carrying sardines in "shaya" small net to unload it in the trucks during sardine fishing season in Taqa, Dhofar governorate, Oman. During my trip to southern Oman, specifically Dhofar province, I met Sardine fishermen in the season of "Alula", the season of sardine migration from the Indian Ocean to the African coast. Fishermen use a traditional method that is inherited from ancestors.It is a special way to catch thousands of sardine fish in southern Oman.
