This is Amanda and she lives in Asheville. I took this shot while she was having a break (and a glass of wine) from a modeling fundraiser for our local arts council, and listening to someone. In addition to her extraordinary eyes, I love the details in this shot -- the line of tiny jewels running along her jaw, eyes and neck, and the chewed off nail polish. You don't necessarily have to travel to exotic places to find interesting people to photograph.
