At about 1061 meters high, hiking to the crater of Telica volcano should be a relatively easy. However, the hot temperatures of March make it a very challenging hike. Hiking in temperatures above 40 degrees Celsius - while carrying heavy photography equipment, camping gear, food and water - was hard but worth the effort. The views from the crater are spectacular.
