Wolf Tone
A wolf tone, also known as a "wolf", is produced when a played note matches the natural resonating frequency of the body of a musical instrument such as a violin, producing a sound likened to the howl of a wolf. Being a violinist, I have experienced that every violin has its own soul, and also that of a wolf.
I am so glad you thought about the musical dissonance associated with wolves, wolf gut, wolf string, wolf tone, and rebranding this negative into the call of the wild, the wolf howl.
