i shot this photo of THARU tribal girls dancing and singing on the eve of HOLI in dhudhwa national park india. Most of the girls study in nearby cities and had come to their home village for celebrating HOLI. this tribe is spread around forests of uttar pradesh, uttrakhand and nepal. the saddest part is this tribe is loosing its ethnicity with the changing times and experts told me we won't be able to witness the same culture and traditions in coming 10 years around the area.
