Part of my physicality may have been predetermined by a combination of genes and yet there is so much more of my identity connected to the world of ideas; some no doubt precede my existence. Others, hopefully, I'll be open to discovering and or undoing as I escape the overbearing heat of the lamp and the confining gauze.
