It's been a year since I was diagnosed with cancer. My will to be healthy and my body being sick is in conflict. I was recently told the cancer is back and had to do a round of radiation. It was a difficult and frustrating process. I tell myself a lot that I will get through this, that's it's a bump in the road and I will get back to my healthy self. There are times when I break down but I feel I am winning. Today, I went to the gym and feel great!! This is an in-camera double exposure.

I love Your Shot photographer Marcelo Almeida's comment: "Congratulations on having the strength to perform this beautiful work of yourself at a difficult moment. Now let's talk about good things that deserve to be celebrated. Congratulations on your birthday, half a century of life. We will also celebrate your last day of chemotherapy. [A]nd in the future we will be celebrating the results of the medical examinations confirming their cure. HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!!!!!!!"
