On a trip to South Africa to compete in the International Professional Surfing tour I met the two surfers in this picture. We traveled by van through the countryside from Durban to Port Elizebeth. We became good friends and I was surprised to learn they were not brother and sister. It wasn't just the red hair and freckles that led me to believe they were related but their smiles were the same as well.
