On 16 March I arrived at Huntley Meadows Park just as the morning light was hitting the tops of the trees, casting a warm glow on the water. Though it was below freezing, there was no wind at sunrise, and it made for some very nice reflections. I observed a half-dozen Northern Shovelers and (seen here) a pair of Hooded Mergansers.
