Edit Photo Details The Call of the Wild, an Iconic Image   #thetaleoftwowolves
Reminiscent of The Call of the Wild, a short adventure novel by Jack London published in 1903 and set in Yukon, Canada during the 1890s Klondike Gold Rush, this wolf is in classic "Howling Pose." Wolves pipe up more often during the night because they're nocturnal. Its interesting that Canine experts have found "no connection between the phases of the moon and wolf howling."
