Some fascinating petroglyphs we saw on a backcountry ranger led hike in the Wupatki National Monument area. This National Monument is one of many wonderful places to visit in the Flagstaff area. Fantastic natural beauty mixed with significant ancestral pueblo ruins makes for an exceptional experience... some may say spiritual... definitely uplifting. The backcountry is off limits to the public unless on a designated NPS ranger led hike.
