Why wait...
This humble valley lays claim to being the headwaters of the Columbia river; which flows from the Rocky Mountains of British Columbia, northwest then south through the states of Washington and Oregon before emptying out into the Pacific Ocean. This lake is right near the beginning of it all. My personal realization that waiting was unnecessary in the doing of things that I love to do. That moment was a major shift in my perspective of seasonal outdoor activities.
