Every year the Grey whales migrate from Alaska to mate and give birth in the Baja Peninsula in Mexico. San Ignacio Lagoon is special because the whales are friendly. The mother and her baby, or sometimes an individual whale will come to the boat unprovoked to get rubbed and petted by us. This experience, to touch, kiss and pet a whale in the wild is something that cannot be put into words. This happens only here and no one knows why. Truly blessed to look in the eye of the whale.
