Kallar Kahar Lake
Kallar Kahar is a town and subdivision of Chakwal District in Punjab, Pakistan. This beautiful place is famous for the natural gardens of loquat trees and a Salt Water Lake with beautiful species of peacocks.
The Lake used to be a haven for migratory birds, however, I haven't witnessed any more migrating birds since 2012 due to one main reason: the lake now serves as a sewer for the town, the dirty water has repelled scores of species of birds that used to come during the winter months.
