British cuisine is not exactly renown throughout the world but there are a few things that mark us out as distinctive - things such as our love of cups of tea, the distinctive Marmite spread (love it or hate it), the HP Sauce (HP as in "Houses of Parliament") - a brown, spicy alternative to ketchup, and Lea and Perrins' Worcestershire Sauce, on the right, which you can add to almost anything.
