    The mountain flower, Pleroma heteromalla seized the São José mountain, municipality of Prados, Minas Gerais state. The genus Pleroma belongs to the family Melastomataceae. Species of the melastomataceae have remarkable ornamental value and, as pioneers plant, in environmental restoration activities in forests of the South and Southeast of Brazil.
