After driving in heavy rain, we arrived at Milford Sound as the clouds cleared, a definite bonus since many only get to see this famous place in the rain. Even better, the tide was out exposing the beach so I could capture the reflection of Miter peak in the remaining pools of water. I could have stayed here for hours seeing it from different angles but I could see my family was getting restless.
