Trapani: the procession of the Mysteries
On Holy Friday twenty sacred groups, consisting of wooden statues, are carried in procession along the streets of the city, according to a tradition that has lasted for over four hundred years.
In this photo the men who carry the statues on their shoulders for over 24 hours.
