Standing in the freezing cold, worried about frostbite, I noticed this raven flying in the area. I took many photos from far away, and fortunately it circled closer. I expected yet another dull photo of a black bird, so I was thrilled that the sun peaked out from behind the clouds to illuminate the back of this raven.
